How much stuff costs Pt. 2

Police clearance letter: $39

Ooh! I found this great website to see how much everyday stuff costs in Chile and other countries, including Japan and Denmark. Sad to find out Chilean price are not that much different from US prices.

Oh well! At least I'm not in Japan! :P

grace, i think you should take this with a grain of salt. these figures are heavily culture-specific. for example, a pair of shoes in ho chi minh city for $25? please, i was too cheap to buy shoes for $10 and i still ended up coming home with 6 pairs of shoes (and let me tell you, none of them were flip flops)! and a 3-course dinner certainly doesn't cost $15 for MOST people who go to vietnam; for me, it bought about 3 3-course dinners. i think we would call the people who gather these figures tourists with cash. we, however, are not tourists with cash--we're cheap ass asian girls who know how to find a deal!
