I'm alive?

For those following with this blog, you may be perplexed as to why there have been no updates from Moon. After all, she just arrived in Tokyo a week and a half ago and should have been experiencing many things and is bubbling over with things to share.

The truth is, there indeed have been many things that have happened but they've left Moon exhausted.

Also, Moon hasn't traveled a lot. She had done a lot of housekeeping stuff and went to various orientations for ICU but that's about it. She hasn't been to the touristy places at all (except maybe Shinjuku) and just wants a nice, filling, nutritious meal (with meat & vegetables), then a long, long, restful night's sleep.

Another reason for the lack of updates is that the internet in her apartment is impossibly slow and/or inconsistent. She is updating this at her school's library.

The commute from home to school is roughly 1.25 hours along. Moon takes a subway from the Shin-Egota station to the Higashi-Nakano station, where she changes to the Chuo Line. Then she gets off at the next station, Nakano, and transfers to the Sobu Line. After arriving at the Musashi-Sakai station, she takes the 93 bus and gets to campus. There are many flights of stairs to walk up and down while trying to avoid colliding into people who are rushing from train to train.

And yes, Moon has been in a very cramped train. She is on cramped trains everyday.

Well, she's very sleepy now and has 2 hours before the next event so she's going to find a quiet corner of the library and knock out.

Good bye!
